I had a bit of fun with vector shapes, patterns and the lovely Amatic font. I wanted something that is simple and complex at the same time and felt this would work perfectly for a wedding invitation, or an anniversary card or just because. I am happy to personalise this for weddings and anniversaries. Just send me an e-mail.

Taken a little while back in Cambridgeshire on a ‘photo walk’. I loved the way the view was leading the eye towards the horizon. The day was almost as sunny as it looks but nowhere near as warm.

This is a manipulation of several images and brushes. I took the bottom half of the image a while ago and because it had a plain and boring sky forgot about it for a bit. However, I came across it again yesterday and decided to play with it. It’s another vartiation of my images on the future and the uncertainty of it and how our destiny waits just beyond the mist of time and still we walk blindly forward because there is no choice.

More experiments with flowers at various stages of dying. I like the faded beauty as much as I like them when they’re all fresh and plump. I added textures and colour adjustments in Photoshop. The pictures were taken of the flowers lying flat on a bit of cream cardboard. I only used natural light.

Another image in my Seduction series. This time I went for an elegant pinup look.

I have a real thing about foxes at the moment. I’ve always liked them, but suddenly, I don’t know, they just make me smile. This is a fox I made from fimo and then placed in his own little nest to take pictures of. There are a few more shots of him which I will show you soon….

I took this image of the shells yesterday when I took some other still life images for photo manipulations I have planned. I’ve tried a few times to get the perfect combination of shells and the light falling on them just right and this time it worked (imho) perfectly.
The water and splashes were added. Below is the original image:

I like it and it’s pretty but it lacks the drama of the edited one. I added water reflections, textures, the splashes, colour adjustments and highlights/shadows to create the drama.

I love the quote by Anderson Cooper: “The farther you go, however, the harder it is to return. The world has many edges, and it’s easy to fall off.”
I only used the last bit of the quote as it was the part that mattered the most to me. It’s not easy sometimes to make your way through life and sometimes it’s good to remember that it is not always your fault if you fall off. However, it is up to you to get back on…
The photo was taken last week. I used a scarf to create the floating effect. The rest was a happy accident.

Week 8 of my 1/52 project. This time I went for more subtle lines - the shadows at the front and the horizon itself. This image has been fairly heavily edited as I had a telephone mast in there and some trees at the back which distracted from the lines. I’ve enhanced the colours and the depth and added the grungy vignette.
